Project Overview

Northern Heritage Roofing was appointed to carry out a full roof replacement on a hipped bungalow in the picturesque coastal village of Alnmouth, Northumberland. The existing roof, fitted with aging concrete tiles, had become porous over time, leading to water ingress and overall weathering concerns. The customer chose vibrant red Double Roman concrete tiles to enhance both the property’s visual appeal and long-term protection.

Challenges & Solutions

Working on a hipped roof design required precision at the corners and valleys to maintain uniform tile alignment and watertight seals. Our experienced team ensured each section was tiled to manufacturer specifications, paying close attention to the hip junctions for a clean and lasting finish.
