Northern Heritage Roofing was appointed to replace a failing cast iron gutter system on a traditional terraced property in Kendal, located within the Lake District.
The existing guttering had become heavily corroded and was no longer functioning correctly, leading to poor water discharge and potential risks to the property’s brickwork and foundations.
We carefully removed the old, rusted cast iron system from both the front and rear elevations and installed a new like-for-like cast iron guttering system, finished in grey to maintain the building’s original character and appearance.
All components were correctly aligned, securely fixed, and tested to ensure effective rainwater flow and long-term durability—providing a traditional solution that meets modern performance standards.
